There comes a point when you realize that when Jesus said “Go and do likewise,” he was not referring to achieving national levels of fame before your thirtieth birthday. So it seems that I am off the hook there.

At the height of his fame, Jesus only had 12 confirmed followers and I am not clear on why I should feel obligated to surpass him when I have no intention of saving the world.
